3rd Major Assessment & Parent-Teacher Meeting

3rd Major Assessment Exams are commencing from 1st of February, 2016 and will end on 8th of February, 2016.

Each subject carries 10 marks. Passing% - 50% in all 3 major subjects (English, Maths & G.Sc) and 40% in minor subjects (S.St, Isl, Urdu, Extra English).

The student, remains absent during the examinations will not be allowed to take the same paper again.

Parent-Teacher meeting is scheduled to be held on 18th February 2016 (Thursday) from 1200 to 1400 Hrs.

Sports Week

At PISCT we had Sports Week from 24th – 28th January, 2016 for all levels of classes under the supervision of Ms. Leila Tehrani, the Sports Teacher.

During the Sports Week, football matches between different sections were played that was the most desirable completion. Besides that, there were Basketball, Badminton, Table-Tennis competitions.

In addition, younger kids of classes I to V enjoyed doing hooli-hoops and skipping the rope.

The Pre-Board Exams for FBISE students will commence on 1st of February, 2016 and the Mock exams for Cambridge O & A Levels students will start on 25th of January, 2016. The purpose of these exams is to test the current standing of the students before they proceed for their final exams.

Last date to submit Cambridge Registration Forms is 16th February, 2016.

On January 10, 2016, 95 students of Pakistan International School and College, Tehran sat the essay writing competition.

The candidates participated at three levels. 26 students participated from classes IV and V (junior section); 38 students from classes VI and VII (middle section); 31 students from classes VIII, O’ 1, O’ 2, A S, A’ 2, IX, X, XI and XII (senior section).

The topics candidates wrote about were the following:

Junior level: ‘What do you want to be when you grow up?’
Middle level: ‘Who is your favourite personality?’
Senior Section: ‘If you had power, what would you do with it?’

Each student was assigned a roll number written on the candidate’s paper. Thereafter, each anonymous paper has to be checked by three examiners, Ms. Bahareh, Ms. Neda and Ms. Omid. After the average of the three marks for each student is worked out, the results will be out in March.
